Very entertaining. What I wouldn't give for a break right now .... but I have mother-in-law living with me and breaks are not possible ...poor me!

Planning an all-3-of-us trip to Bolton Abbey, staying in one of the Landmark Trust cottages in March, which will be a sort of break.

You speak Welsh? I'm impressed. I'm trying to learn Swedish at the moment. It'll take longer than a moment I know. Quite a lot of similarities between Swedish (and all the Scandanavian languages) and celtic languages. So I might even find Welsh more intelligible as my proficiency grows.

I'm a struggling in Welsh learner at a very early stage of comprehension at present. I'd love to be fluent. Maybe by the time I'm old enough to retire to Abersoch I'll get there.

The Bolton Abbey break sounds good. Swedish is interesting. I know one of my blogrollers is fluent in Norwegian.

I think I know "Jeg Heter Martyn " Is that Swedish or Norwegian ? Or even correct. Lots of Scandinavian words in the dialect around here.

Welcome back! Does Barney get to go with you on all of your trips? He looks like a great world traveller! Excellent photos, especially this one!

He does go with us to most places. He's quite chilled about it these days although he still doesn't like the car.
